Anna’s Story
I’m Anna Maton, the founder of The Phoenix Home and Estate Organizing and a member of the Professional Organizers of Canada. With four children and a wonderful husband, I know firsthand the significance of maintaining organization and regularly decluttering in a bustling household. I founded this business because I have personally experienced the positive impact of organizing amidst loss and challenging changes in my own life.
My inspiration to start The Phoenix Home & Estate Organizing began with the difficult loss of my brother and best friend. His passing not only left a huge void in my life but also caused me to reflect on life after loss, the memories and the legacy we each leave behind. I also spent time thinking about what I would do to honor his memory and to give back.
In the midst of grief, I faced many challenges. Also, I found a sense of purpose in the process of organizing his personal belongings and property and managing his estate as administrator. Each item held memories, stories, and sentiments that deserved acknowledgment and respect. Through this emotional and challenging journey, I discovered that organizing wasn’t just about tidying up physical spaces; it is also an act of love, remembrance, healing, growth and change.
” Driven by my personal experience, love of organizing my own home, years of volunteering and organizing events and joy of helping others, The Phoenix Home & Estate Organizing was born. The Phoenix represents rising from the ashes with renewed youth to live another cycle. By helping others organize areas of their home, garage, and estate, I can help bring joy and a sense of calm to their lives and homes. Regardless of the organizational challenges you are encountering, be it decluttering, home organization or managing an estate, I am here to help.”
With warmth and compassion,
Anna Maton
